I have got a position (conclusion of a line segment) on a sketch, and I want to make it coincident with a plane perpendicular to the sketch plane. There does not appear to be to be any possibilities for this at all, but it looks like this kind of an clear and basic detail. Won’t be able to constrain a line to be parallel or coincident with a plane possibly.
Could any person assist come across a different resolution to applying a sweep-slash with a round profile on a 3D “Path” or axis. I will need to somehow come across a way to make this a sample or all in a person feature.
Im hoping to extrude this sketch sample with 36 minor circles on it to the same sketch sample but scaled down proportionally to a more compact size, and offset on a further plane. I tried working with a swept slash. I assume working with a 3d sketch is what I need to do, but am unfamiliar with 3D and surfacing. Any assistance/incite appriciated

I am applying solidworks simulation. from time to time I designed some variations in assembly that variations have not current in motion analyze . Can any person inform how to update the motion assessment.

Is there a way to use the new mirror drawing sights choice when all you have is projected type sights?
I want to mirror a darn detail print that was finished by an outside the house vendor but it has no product check out (they deleted the original product check out and built other projection sights off a projected check out).
There has obtained to be a do the job all around for this. Any individual have any strategies?
We have been drafting factors for a further business who use Inventor who are incredibly certain about their sheet formats and would like our Solidworks drawings to search identical to their Inventor format.
My issue is, can we customise the segment lines and view labels to search like the Inventor forms?
An example of what I am referring to is beneath in the yellow containers.
Is there an easier way than this?
I am see many difficulties with applying the the style and design library function to drag and fall a function into a strong model. The placement and dimensions appear in properly, but the sketch origin does not conclusion up in the origin of the part.
Is there a way to have the sketch origin match the origin of the model?
-The sketch used to develop the function library is dimensions so the middle of the square is at the origin in reference to the two edges. (yet the sketch origin is not related to it?)
-The origin of the 3D model is proven in the building strains.
I am inquiring since sometimes I will need to insert supplemental styles, and generally use the origin as a reference.
I can open and use SW 2015 SP4 till i consider to CTRL S or save manually, it crash. BUT, i am jogging it in Home windows 8 compatibility mode simply because SW WONT open in W10 mode. I started out a further thread about SW not able to initialized VBA….
But is there a way in W8 mode to fix the save crashing difficulty?
